What is NoHarm?

NoHarm.ai is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that uses artificial intelligence to optimize Clinical Pharmacy decisions. It evaluates prescriptions, automates pharmaceutical screening, prioritizes non-standard prescriptions, and identifies critical patients, integrating with hospital data to indicate potential prescription errors and improve care quality and efficiency. The platform also offers the NoHarm Care feature, an AI that classifies and annotates patient indicators in progress notes, extracting relevant information and enabling the analysis of exams and the generation of Risk Management reports.

What does the institution need to implement NoHarm?

The first and most fundamental requirement is that the hospital has an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, as the NoHarm platform does not work without this integration. Additionally, the hospital must:

• Provide data: Using NoHarm, the data will be pseudonymized, and we will only bring non-sensitive, controlled information made available through "views", without direct patient identification.
• Provide server access: For the installation of applications and access to the EHR databases and other necessary systems, via VPN or SSH to NoHarm's fixed IP.
  • A site-to-site VPN will incur an additional project cost, which will be passed on to the client.
• Configure Firewall: Allow specific addresses on users' computers for remote access to the platform.
• Server Requirements: A dedicated virtual machine for Apache Nifi, with at least 8 virtual processors, 8 GB RAM, 200 GB of Disk space, a Linux operating system (Ubuntu, CentOS, or Oracle Linux from version 8 onwards), and the latest stable versions of Docker and Git installed. This will be a dedicated virtual machine for Apache Nifi, with access to specific URLs on the internet for communication with NoHarm services and for updates.

How is the free service validated?

NoHarm.ai's main objective is to improve patient care free of charge for Brazil's Unified Health System (SUS). The validation of free access for SUS beds is done by consulting the CNES (National Registry of Health Establishments). The NoHarm contract is based on the number of private beds that benefit, while SUS beds will have access to the solution at no cost. In institutions with 100% SUS beds, the service is free, and the collaboration agreement is signed without any financial burden or consideration between the parties.

For institutions with private or insurance-covered beds, the contract is for all existing beds, generating a monthly fee according to the number of private beds. The price per bed follows a pricing table based on the total number of beds.
